The CP Premier Basketball League
takes playing recreational hoops to the next level! Join the
only league that posts weekly blogs, individual player stats,
season awards, and a championship that actually means something
to your pocket book. The Premier Leagues runs from March to
May with four leagues and two divisions within each league.
Register your team in either the AAA, AA, A or 30+ League where
each team will play a total of eight games. The top six teams
will qualify for a single elimination playoff and the winning
team will receive a 50% discount in the next Premier League and
championship t-shirts.
Coaches Responsibility/Team Fee
Each team must be registered by a coach or team captain who is
responsible for all team administrative information, payment,
and players understanding of rules and the CP Athletic
Association’s Code of Conduct. Since this is a church based
league, we ask that the coach attend a church service at least
twice a month. The team fee for the CP Premier Basketball
League is $600 and must be paid online prior to the first
game at

General Rules of Play
Each game consists of two 20 min halves. The clock will stop
only with one minute remaining in the first half and two minutes
remaining in the second half. Exception: Teams must be within
20 points at the two minute mark and 10 points at the one minute
mark for the clock to stop. This rule applies in the second
half only. There will be a three minute pre-game, halftime and
overtime if necessary.
All players must be 18 years or older, have signed the Waiver
and Code of Conduct/Roster, and paid all fees in order to be
game eligible. Teams must have matching colored reversible
jerseys with numbers on the front and back of both sides.
Two scorekeepers will be provided and all games will be
officiated by the PNBOA. The CP Basketball League and Gym Rules
apply to each game. Please understand the variations to normal
rules, such as clock stoppage on made basket within final two
minutes and back to back time-outs equates to inbound at the
half court line.
AAA League – Monday night (Main Gym)
The best of the best - Teams must have at least two
collegiate caliber (under 35) players per team. Players in the
AAA League may not play in the A League
AA League – Tuesday Night (Main Gym)

- Teams may have one collegiate caliber (under 35) player per
team. Must have some organized High School basketball
experience to play.
A League – Tuesday Night (Auxiliary Gym)
Recreational – Teams may have players with little or no
experience in playing basketball. No collegiate experienced
(under 35) player may play in the A League.
30+ League – Monday Night (Auxiliary Gym)
Seasoned Vets
- Teams have players with experience in College, High School,
and City League play but have turned the corner in age. (No
collegiate caliber players under 35).

The CP Basketball League

January – March, June – August, and October – December.

Division) or the Varsity Conference (no collegiate caliber or
experienced player under 35). There will be an East and West
division within each conference and each team will play a total
