The CP Flag Football League
is a competitive recreational flag football league played from
February – April and May – July . There will be an East and West
division and each team will play a total
of seven games. The top six teams will qualify for a
single elimination tournament and the winning team will receive
championship t-shirts.
Coaches Responsibility/Team Fee
Each team must be registered by a coach or team captain who is
responsible for all team administrative information, payment,
and players understanding of rules and the CP Athletic
Association’s Code of Conduct. Since this is a church based
league, we ask that the coach attend a church service at least
twice a month. The team fee for the CP Flag Footballl League is
$525 and must be paid online prior to the first game at
https://www.cedarpark.org/onlinegiving/
General Rules of Play
Each game consists of two 22 min halves. The clock will stop
only with one minute remaining in the first half and two minutes
remaining in the second half. Exception: Teams must be within
16 points at the two minute mark and 8 points at the one minute
mark for the clock to stop. This rule applies in the second
half only. There will be a three minute pre-game and halftime.
All players must be 18 years or older, have signed the Waiver
and Code of Conduct/Roster, and paid all fees in order to be
game eligible. Teams must have matching colored jerseys.
Games
will be
officiated by certified CPAA officials. The CP Flag
Football League rules apply to each
game. Please understand the variations to normal football rules, such as
flag guarding, equipment penalties and no kickoffs.
