The CP Softball Men's League
is a competitive recreational softball league played
from April - May, and September –
October. There will be an East and West division within each
league and each team will play a total of six
games. The top four teams will qualify for a single
elimination playoff and the winning team will receive
champion t-shirts.
Coaches Responsibility/Team Fee
Each team must be registered by a coach
or team captain who is responsible for all team
administrative information, payment, and players
understanding of rules and the CP Athletic Association’s
Code of Conduct. Since this is a church based league,
we ask that the coach attend a church service at least
twice a month. The team fee for the CP Softball
Men's
League is $400 and must be paid online prior to
the first game at
https://www.cedarpark.org/onlinegiving/
General Rules of Play
Each game is 70 minutes in length or seven innings.
Batters will start with a one and one count and once the
ball passes the plate all base runners may steal.
Even though this is a Men's league, we will be using a
girls fast pitch softball (11"). There is no
height restrictions on pitches.
All players must be 18 years or older,
have signed the Waiver and Code of Conduct/Roster, and
paid all fees in order to be game eligible.
All
games will be officiated by CPAA certified umpires. The CP
Softball Men's League apply to each game.
Please understand the variations to normal rules, such
as base stealing and using an 11" softball.
