Week 4

Only four games remain

 this week as they face off against the number one ranked team, Canyon Creek.  This is a perfect opportunity for the Patriots to catch Canyon Creek off guard and pull out a victory.
     The first week in October also brings some fireworks as Arsenal hosts Young Life at 8:30am.  The winner of this game will be sitting alone atop the East Division.
     Mean Machine is having issues with pre game prep thus resulting in starting the game in a hole.  In each of their games they've had to fight back to regain the lead and only one of their three games did they hold the lead. They'll need to all arrive early if they are going to win this week.
     The Saints of Antioch are looking for a big win against the most talented team in the League, Double Shot.  This one will be a dandy.  One of those wins may come this weekend as they play Team Mother, a team that is hoping their entire squad will show up.

The beginning of each year brings hope for a playoff run for the teams in the CP Premier Flag Football League and eventually a shot at the Fishers of Men Memorial Trophy.  No team plans for a slow start out of the gate, yet it's inevitable, teams win and teams lose.   Some of the teams that are searching for their first win are Eastside Thunder, The Patriots and Team Mother.  All have winning ways in their past, however are struggling this year. 
     Eastside Thunder plays competitive and with their own version of Randy Moss (Dave Clarke) they should win at least two games.  The other winless team, The Patriots have a
